The pacing starts off nice but it abruptly goes too fast. Even the first parasite scene could have been longer; seeing the panties pulled off (separate from the pants), seeing the parasite anywhere before it jumps in, seeing more of the brain-xray shots.
And then both cops take off their uniforms immediately, which ruins the whole flavor of them being cops. Naked women could be anyone, the uniform was the only thing that made them cops.
Keep the shirt on longer, or maybe one of them puts the hat back on at least?
