Alleyway

The bar is busier than ever and bartender Barbie Rous needs a break from it all. She steps outside into the alley to take a breath of fresh air, pulling her phone out and scrolling through it to kill some time.

Hearing the sound of approaching footsteps, Barbie looks down the alley and notices Lia Lin, a woman who lives in the apartment adjacent to the bar. She moves in a suspicious manner but Barbie shrugs it off to Lia just being a strange person.

What she doesn’t know is that Lia has an unhealthy obsession with a rare parasitic species, keeping a live specimen in her apartment and treating it like a pet. That is until it breaks free from its container and escapes through the pipes.
